JOB DESCRIPTION

At Home Medical is seeking a Full TIme Respiratory Therapist for the Morris Plains Clinical Services Unit. The position will be working 5-day shifts per week - 9am - 5pm Monday -Friday. Possible Saturdays.

Relevant Experience:

• Knowledge regarding homecare services and third-party reimbursement
• Excellent communication, documentation, customer service, organizational, prioritizing, and critical thinking skills
• Bi-lingual preferred
• To provide respiratory care to patients as ordered by physician, according to established standards and practices
• Assess patient health problems and needs
• Develop and implement care plans
• Maintain medical records
• Administer care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients
• CPAP/VPAP set ups in the patient home or office

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

• Associate of Science degree from an accredited respiratory therapist program, required.
• Bachelor's Degree, preferred

License/Certification:

• Active license for Respiratory Therapy in New Jersey, required.
• Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) preferred.
• NY and PA licenses preferred
