Description
Job Responsibilities: to provide the highest quality of therapeutic massage and your specific specialization, treat all clients and co-workers without bias and with respect, be kind and honest, follow policies and be prompt and responsible.
Work Experience: Work experience from Chiropractic and Physical Therapy Offices preferred but not required.
Skills: Ability to provided the basic massage services such as: Therapeutic massage, Deep Tissue, and Swedish. Specializations required such as listed above or again prenatal, shiatsu, acupuncture, trigger point, sports massage, etc.
Education: Must have received education from a certified massage school and be willing to learn from other LMT contractors at DKM.
Licensed: Must be licensed as an Idaho Licensed Massage Therapist
REQUIRED: to provide proof of licensure, provide your own malpractice insurance, have a massage specialization, and willing to have a background check performed.

Schedule: Our office is open Monday thru Saturday, with appointments starting at 8:00 AM and ending by 8:00/8:30 PM. Our office is closed on Sundays and major holidays.

Requirements
Specifically looking for LMTs who are specialists in the following: Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), Lypossage, Prenatal, TMJ, Pre/Post Surgery, Myofascial Release (MFR), Grastin Technique, Sports Massage, Deep Tissue, Therapeutic Massage, Infant Massage, Cancer massage, Medical Massage Practitioner, and so forth.
(Definition of a Specialist: Has received the highest level of training in this modality and has significant experience in the field of massage and that modality.)
Education: Must have received education from a certified massage school and be willing to learn from other LMT contractors at DKM.
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- Learning from each LMT is encouraged
- CEU development and specializations encouraged and emphasized
Experience: Massage Therapy: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification: Idaho Massage Therapy License (Required)
- If you are in Massage Therapy school we can help you get a provisional license, which would allow you to work as a Massage Therapist under one of our qualified Licensed Massage Therapists, until you have received your license.
Willingness To Travel: Not necessary, but there are some promotional and optional contract work traveling around town or to neighboring cities. We hope to plan client focused wellness retreats and other promotional events.
