Chatterbox Pediatric Therapy is a locally owned, multidisciplinary pediatric therapy practice serving children and families across the Treasure Valley. With clinic locations in Boise and Nampa, our team provides Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy services in a collaborative, supportive environment centered around helping children grow, gain independence, and build confidence.

Company History
Chatterbox Pediatric Therapy was founded in 2008 by Kirsten Ulias and Nikki Kerns with a shared vision of providing exceptional pediatric therapy services to children and families throughout the Treasure Valley. Both Kirsten and Nikki earned their Master’s Degrees in Speech-Language Pathology from Idaho State University and began Chatterbox with a small clinic in Meridian featuring just two therapy rooms. In those early years, therapists provided services both in the clinic and through Idaho’s Infant Toddler Program.
As the need for pediatric speech and language services continued to grow, Chatterbox expanded. In 2011, the Meridian clinic was replaced with two larger locations in Boise and Nampa, allowing the team to serve even more families across the Treasure Valley.
Over the years, Chatterbox has continued to grow its services to meet the evolving needs of the children and families we serve. Occupational Therapy was added in 2013, followed by academic services through the Chatterbox Learning Academy in 2016 and Physical Therapy in 2019.
Today, Chatterbox has grown from a two-room speech therapy clinic into a thriving multidisciplinary pediatric therapy practice. Our team continues to provide high-quality Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy services at our Boise and Nampa clinics, while also partnering with local school districts to support children throughout the community.
While Chatterbox has grown tremendously since 2008, our mission remains the same: to provide exceptional, family-centered care that helps children build the skills, confidence, and independence they need to thrive.
